| WEDNESDAY 08 JULY @ 16:00 — Ancient Aptera and Synestiasis Guided visit to the archaeological site of Aptera (historical information). The visit will be followed by dinner at a local tavern, with traditional music from Crete and other Greek islands. | The intermediate hours are approximate. Participants may use their own transportation if they wish. 16:00 Bus departs from Chania Pick up point: corner of Ploumidaki & Tzanakaki streets, next to the Chania municipal garden and the old clock. 16:30 Guided visit of Aptera Hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes strongly advised 18:30 Bus departs from Aptera for local tavern Note that the bus cannot reach the tavern, and will drop us off at the entrance of the village, about a 10-minute walk from the tavern. 19:30 Dinner at the tavern “Τα Ντουλιανά“ (see the menu) 23:00 Bus departs for Chania The pick-up point will be where the bus drops us off. About 1h ride back to Chania. |
